Onion soup

We are preparing a classic of French cuisine with selected spices from the Trading House “Lubystok” – onion soup. This is truly the best onion dish you could think of!

40 minutes


1. A mixture of ground pepper "Hell Pepper" "Lubystok" - 1 tbsp.
2. Himalayan pink salt "Lubystok" - 1 tbsp.
3. Onions - 1 kg
4. White dry wine - 200 g
5. Cream (33%) - 500 ml
6. Butter - 25 g
7. Baguette - 4 slices
8. Cheddar cheese - 50 g
9. Oil - 50 ml
10. Flour - 1 tbsp.
11. Sugar - 1 tsp.
12. Garlic - 2-3 cloves
13. Fresh thyme
14. Stems of green onions


  1. Cut the onion into thin slices and fry in a pan with oil, butter, garlic and fresh thyme.
  2. Add white dry wine and flour to lightly fried onions and mix thoroughly. Add the cream and spices of the Trading House “Lubystok” – ground pepper mixture “Hell Pepper” and Himalayan pink salt to taste.
  3. Sprigs of fresh thyme are removed from the pan. Pour the onion-cream mixture into a saucepan and beat with a blender until smooth, bring to a boil over low heat.
  4. Cut the baguette into slices and fry in a dry pan for a few minutes.
  5. Pour the soup into plates, put slices of dried baguette and mash with hard cheese. Send in the oven for a few minutes (3-5 minutes)
  6. Decorate the finished soup with finely chopped green onions.
