Apple pie

Apple pies taste best in autumn!
Add ground cinnamon from “Lubystok” to the pie and the homemade pastry will have a pleasant taste and aroma.

For the dough:
1. Organic sugar "Dobryk" - 300 g
2. Baking powder "Dobryk" - 1 tsp.
3. Vanillin "Dobryk" - small amount
4. Wheat flour - 350 g
5. Egg whites - 2 pcs.
6. Butter - 200 g
7. A pinch of salt

For the filling:
1. Apples - 500 g
2. Ground cinnamon "Lubystok" - 1 tsp.
3. Sour milk cheese - 500 g
4. Egg yolks - 2 pcs.
5. Semolina - 2 tbsp.
6. Organic sugar "Dobryk" - 2 tbsp.
7. Zest of one lemon


  1. First, we prepare the dough: combine the dry ingredients – flour, “Dobryk” baking powder, “Dobryk” vanillin and salt. Beat the egg whites with “Dobryk” sugar until smooth. Combine the egg mass with a mixture of dry ingredients, add pieces of soft butter and knead a smooth, soft and elastic dough. The dough is ready if it no longer sticks to your hands.
  2. Prepare the filling by combining sour milk cheese, egg yolks, semolina, “Dobryk” sugar and ground cinnamon “Lubystok”.
  3. Divide the dough in half and put one part on the bottom of the prepared form.
  4. Put the filling on the dough and cover with the second part of the dough.
  5. Cut the apples into thin slices and lay them on top of the pie.
  6. Pierce the ready-to-bake cake with a fork in several places and bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for 40-50 minutes.
  7. Cool the cake and while it is still warm, sprinkle it with powdered sugar so that a sweet and crispy crust forms on the apples.
