Tom Yam

Tom Yam is a visiting card of Asian cuisine. In translation “Tom” means “to cook”, and “Yam” means “spicy salad”. Asian soup has a pungent taste with a sour tint and striking aroma. With the Thai spices seasoning from the “Tastes of the World” line of the Trading House “Lubystok”, you can prepare this delicious soup in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

1. Water - 600 g.
2. Seasoning "Thai Spices" line "Tastes of the World" - 2 tbsp. l.
3. Fish sauce - 4 tbsp. l.
4. Chili pepper - 1 pc.
5. Lime - 1 pc.
6. Onions (white sweet) - 1 half
7. Mushrooms - 60 g.
8. Cherry tomatoes - 6 pcs.
9. Shrimp - 200 g.
10. Fresh parsley - 1 bunch
11. Coconut milk - 2 tbsp. l.
12. Salt to taste

Preparation:

  1. Pour water into a saucepan and add lime, fresh chili (cut into rings) and 2 tablespoons of seasoning “Thai Spices” from the “Tastes of the World” line of  Trading House “Lubystok”. Cover with a lid and heat until boiling. After, leave for 5 minutes.
  2. Add shrimps, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes (halves), fish sauce. Boil for 10 minutes.
  3. For the last three minutes, add coconut milk (optional) parsley leaves and lime juice (squeeze from one lime).
